Germany women pose for Playboy (With Photos)

Soccer Extreme : If you were considering giving the Women's World Cup a miss then think again as five German players are doing a grand job of promoting the very beautiful game.

Bayern Munich trio Annika Doppler, Ivana Rudelic and Julia Simic along with Wolfsburg's Selina Wagner and Gutersloh's Kristina Gessat have posed for the German edition of Playboy ahead of the big kick-off later this month.

The quintet have yet to break into Germany's first team but it is unlikely they will be overlooked for much longer.

The Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB), football's governing body in Germany, had nothing to do with the shoot and Nina van Splunter, the event manager at German Playboy, said: 'We went direct to the ladies. But it should be OK, otherwise they would have been told not to do it by their clubs.'

Well said Nina. If anything, the girls should be applauded for showing true, naked ambition.
